Over time there is a possibility of a white powdery haze on the surface called efflorescence. It is completely natural. Sometimes when the surface is wet and the haze will seem to vanish and when it dries seems to come back. Structurally its harmless.
The chemical process of efflorescence is when calcium hydroxide is formed in making the concrete, which is water soluble leeching to the surface and reacting with CO2 creating calcium carbonate.
Sealing pavers should not be done on brand new surfaces. Enough time should be allowed for the bricks to weather. This could take 2 or more weeks.
